I never thought I’d see the day,
That life would take you far away,
Looking back, I wish I’d known
Just how much our friendship’s grown.

You’ve always brought out the best in me,
Seen the parts no one else could see,
Always there when times got tough,
Even miles apart, you’re enough.

So thank you, my friend, for all you give,
For showing me new ways to live,
For the peace you bring when life gets loud,
And lifting me when I’m feeling down.

I miss the way you’d pull me through
With just a joke, a story or two,
And though you’re far, you’re here each day—
Some bonds are built to stay that way.

I wish I could call you up right now,
Just to hear your voice, somehow,
We’d laugh like it was all brand new,
And remember there’s nothing we can’t get through.

We’ve had our moments, we’ve had our fights,
But you’re still the one who sets things right,
We’re not perfect, but we don’t end,
Here’s to you, my true friend.

So here’s to the calls and quiet nights,
To all the ways we put things right,
To you, who brings me peace from afar,
And stays close, no matter where we are.

Thank you, friend, for all the years,
For laughs, advice, and drying tears,
For being a light that never fades,
Across the miles, our friendship stays.
